Hydroxyapatite Whitening Strips
Pure Glow strips pair PAP, a peroxide-free whitening agent, with hydroxyapatite, the mineral your enamel is mostly made of. The PAP lifts stains, the hydroxyapatite helps replenish the surface enamel while you whiten, and there's no peroxide to make your teeth sting.

What hydroxyapatite does in a whitening strip
Hydroxyapatite is the mineral that makes up most of your tooth enamel. In our strips it works alongside the whitening agent, helping replenish the surface enamel while the PAP gets to work on stains.
So you're not just whitening, you're looking after the enamel surface you're whitening.

Why pair it with PAP
Peroxide strips whiten with hydrogen or carbamide peroxide, and peroxide is what makes teeth sting. PAP lifts stains without it, which is why our strips are made for zero sensitivity.
The formula also carries xylitol, which helps reduce the bacteria that cause plaque build-up, bad breath and cavities. The strips are dry-fit, so they grip, stay put and peel off clean with no residue.

What to expect
Up to 6 shades whiter in 14 days, depending on the shade you start from. One strip on the top teeth and one on the bottom, for a minimum of 30 minutes a day. Clinically tested and dentist approved.

You're covered
Every order comes with our 14-Day Two-Shade Guarantee. Use the strips as directed for 14 days, and if you're not at least two shades whiter, you get a full refund. See the terms.
Common questions
What does the hydroxyapatite do?
Hydroxyapatite is the mineral your tooth enamel is mostly made of. In our strips it helps to replenish the enamel surface while you whiten. The detail is in what hydroxyapatite does in whitening strips.
Where does the whitening come from?
From PAP, which lifts stains. Hydroxyapatite's job is to help replenish the enamel surface while you whiten.
Are hydroxyapatite whitening strips good for sensitive teeth?
Ours are. There's no peroxide in the formula, and peroxide is what sets off the nerve, so they're made for zero sensitivity.
Are they safe for enamel?
Yes. They're enamel safe, and the hydroxyapatite helps replenish the surface enamel while you whiten.
How white will my teeth get?
Up to 6 shades whiter in 14 days, depending on the shade you start from. Use one strip on the top teeth and one on the bottom for a minimum of 30 minutes a day.
How do I use them?
Brush, rinse with water, dry your teeth and wait a few minutes. Apply the lower strip, then the top, and leave them on for a minimum of 30 minutes. Once a day for 14 days.
Is there a guarantee?
You're covered by our 14-Day Two-Shade Guarantee. Use the strips as directed for 14 days, and if you're not at least two shades whiter, you get a full refund. See the terms.
Does hydroxyapatite whiten teeth?
No, and we don't claim it does. PAP does the whitening in our strips. Hydroxyapatite is there to help replenish the enamel surface while the PAP works on stains. There's more on what hydroxyapatite does in whitening strips.
Is hydroxyapatite safe?
Hydroxyapatite is the mineral your tooth enamel is mostly made of. In our strips it's there to help replenish the enamel surface while you whiten. The box asks you to check the ingredients for allergies before use, and the strips are not suitable for children under 12.
Can I use hydroxyapatite whitening strips every day?
Yes, during the course. It's one treatment a day, a strip on the top teeth and one on the bottom, for 14 days. Once you're happy with your shade, drop to 2 to 3 strips a week to keep it topped up. If irritation occurs, stop and let it settle, and see a dentist if it persists. The full routine is in how often to use whitening strips.
What else is in the strips?
PAP, which does the whitening, and xylitol, which helps reduce the bacteria that cause plaque build-up, bad breath and cavities. We explain why our strips contain xylitol separately. The strips have a fresh mint flavour, and every ingredient, as printed on the box, is on our Pure Glow facts and ingredients page.
Will hydroxyapatite whitening strips work on crowns or veneers?
They can't change the base colour of a crown, veneer, filling or bonding, but they can lift staining that has built up on top of it. A restoration that matched before can stand out once the teeth around it are whiter, so speak to your dentist first if you have dental work at the front. More in whitening crowns, veneers and bonding.
